We looked for long-eared owls but didn’t find any. There’re many Daurian jackdaws.  

15 May 2022, 23 Oct 2022 Shahe Reservoir, Beijing, CN — Gonghuacheng Binhe Forest Park 巩华城滨河森林公园 — Shahe North Shore — Shahe South Shore Waterfowl, waders, songbird, raptors During the covid lockdown, we couldn’t leave Beijing, Shahe was one of the few places we could go birding.

fairy pitta, spoon-billed sandpiper and other shorebirds
