Downsview Park is one of the best places in Toronto to watch raptors. Various species, including long-eared owls, red-tailed hawks, northern harriers, and American kestrels may be found there.
Red-tailed hawks are especially common, and can often be spotted soaring overhead.
The park’s owl visitors become the center of attention whenever they appear, however, it is important to consider that they are sensitive creatures, and we should avoid disturbing them.
